Infiniti QX56 / QX80
Model Years Produced: 2011 to Current
Summary
The Infiniti QX80 is essentially a Nissan Armada with a somewhat nicer interior. It was named the QX56 when it debuted in 2011 and was renamed to the QX80 in 2014. The QX80 received a facelift in 2018, followed by a mid-cycle refresh in 2022 (coinciding with the Armada).
Verdict
Pros
- Comfortable ride
- Engine is dependable and makes good power
Cons
- Bad fuel economy
- Feels dated compared to luxury competitors
- Lacks many of the luxury features of its competitors (panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, massage seats)
- Not enough of an upgrade over the Armada to justify the price difference
