Lexus RX
Model Years Produced: 2016 to 2022
Summary
The Lexus RX is the brand’s best-selling vehicle, for good reason – it practically invented the luxury midsize crossover segment. Although Lexus is replacing the AL20 iteration of the RX for the 2023 model year after 6 years of service, the AL20 is still not a bad choice for buyers looking for the ultimate in reliability and fuel economy – especially with a hybrid model available.
The RX’s main flaw is packaging. The standard version offers a scant 33 cubic feet of cargo room, with the long-wheelbase “L” version increasing that to 58 (which is still below-average for the class). Those wanting to carry things may wish to look elsewhere.
