Problems
- A smell of gas near the fuel filler indicates the plastic tank sender has cracked and needs replacing, which can be expensive as the entire fuel tank must be dropped
- Key fobs
- SRS warning light – often caused by a loose wire under the driver’s seat
- Seats can wobble – easily fixed by tightening the mounting bolts
- Interior plastics are fragile, especially the glovebox lid
- Rumbling sound from rear of car can be loose differential bolts
- Alternator can become weak due to heat from the engine
- Harmonic balancer on the front of the engine
- Sloppy gear change can be due to worn cable – parts are cheap
