  • A smell of gas near the fuel filler indicates the plastic tank sender has cracked and needs replacing, which can be expensive as the entire fuel tank must be dropped
  • Key fobs
  • SRS warning light – often caused by a loose wire under the driver’s seat
  • Seats can wobble – easily fixed by tightening the mounting bolts
  • Interior plastics are fragile, especially the glovebox lid
  • Rumbling sound from rear of car can be loose differential bolts
  • Alternator can become weak due to heat from the engine
  • Harmonic balancer on the front of the engine
  • Sloppy gear change can be due to worn cable – parts are cheap
