All Vehicles

  • Harsh downshifts from 2nd to 1st gear – may require a software upgrade and/or revised valve body
  • Upper steering shaft bearing – causes snapping or groaning noises from steering column when turning
  • Dashboard warnings about the suspension and brakes may be due to abrasion of the front wheel speed sensor wires
  • Steering wheel buttons – may stop working because of an internal short circuit, requires a replacement steering wheel
  • Door mirrors – may not fully open or retract due to a loose electrical connection or lack of lubrication
  • Interior temperature may differ from the climate control system because the sun sensor needs to be adjusted

Certain Vehicles

  • Vehicles with heated front seats: Signal acquisition module can fail
  • Vehicles with Airmatic air suspension:
    • Can experience miscellaneous hardware failures
    • Wiring harness insulation can rub off and cause short-circuiting
  • Vehicles with power liftgate: Liftgate may reverse directions when closing due to a loose bolt on the gas strut
